KOSUN Drilling Waste Management System Facilitates Drilling Industry in Algeria

In November 2014, when trucks fully loaded with D355 centrifuges, cuttings dryers and Hi-G dryers were driving out of KOSUN factory, busy frontline production and shipping persons gave gratifying smiles. It took 43 days from placing the order to finally delivering these eight sets of drilling waste management systems. KOSUN Production Center carries out the “Safe and Efficient” production and service concepts once again, saving a lot of time for the customer.

Previously, recommended by a local well-known drilling company, one of KOSUN customers, four new-type cuttings dryers (vertical centrifuges) had access to the blocks of its Drilling Waste Management Business Division. It is worth mentioning that handling capacity and effects of the above four dryers are as good as those of top international products, like cuttings dryer from MI-SWACO and CSI, and our equipment were highly recognized by the drilling service company. So, the customer temporarily placed another order from KOSUN of such eight sets of drilling waste management systems, including several D355 centrifuges, cuttings dryers, Hi-G dryers, etc.

Although the task is tough and the time is urgent, KOSUN Production Center has remarkably completed the order and delivered the goods, which is highly praised by the customer. This drilling company is looking forward to closer cooperation with KOSUN in the field of drilling waste management in Algeria.

During oil exploration and production, a large amount of waste is generated on well sites and is left in waste pits. In the rainy season, when the waste pits leak, overflow or are inundated by rainwater, incompletely treated solid contents may bring adverse effects to underground water and surface water, endanger surrounding ecological environment or even result in pollution incidents. It is a significant task for current oil and gas field enterprises that how to adopt corresponding waste management technologies and how to minimize harm of waste drilling fluid to the environment. Up to now, various countries have different standards and legislation for drilling waste management worldwide.

KOSUN Solids Control System Is Highly Appreciated by a Well-known Russian Drilling Service Provider Again

KOSUN has been regarding product quality and services as the basis for corporate survival over the years. In early November, the KOSUN Office in Russia sent a consumer survey feedback form filled with favorable comments.

Being one of the loyal customers of KOSUN in Russia, this famous drilling company has been using KOSUN solids control systems since 2007. Headquartered in Moscow and mainly centralizing drilling blocks in Astrakhan drilling regions subordinate to Lukoil, the company has powerful strength, adopts the most advanced hydraulic drilling rig manufactured by Italy and equips KOSUN mud system for drilling.

The customer said that, Russia’s climate imposes high requirements on equipment durability and low temperature resistance. No global company can mechanically apply its successful experience gained in other countries when it enters the Russian market. Only Russia on the earth covers 11 time zones. The infrastructures in its drilling blocks have not been fully developed, and the climate in the north is very harsh, so sometimes mechanical equipment needs to be maintained in a low-temperature environment below -40°C. However, KOSUN solids control unit has completely solved the above problems. KOSUN Wins a Bulk Order of ZJ70 Circulating System in Kazakhstan

Near the end of the year, KOSUN Kazakhstan Service Company sends another good news that it has signed a contract concerning ZJ70 circulating system with a local drilling company in Aktobe.

KOSUN Kazakhstan Service Company was established at the end of 2009, and KOSUN Kazakhstan Circulating System Factory was completed in 2012, which is the only drilling mud solids control system factory in Kazakhstan and is capable of providing local customers with all kinds of tanks and camps. The project greatly shortens the time of delivery for customers in Central Asian countries and Russia, and supplies high-quality maintenance, after-sales services and accessories to local customers, which is highly appreciated by them.
