  • KOSUN Signs Full Set Contract of Solids Control Equipment with Mongolia Clients at 2012 CIPPE

    The 12th CIPPE was held in the new national exhibition in Beijing on 19 Mar, 2012. On that day, KOSUN signed a full set contract of solids control recycling system for 3000 meters rig with Mongolia clients.

  • KOSUN Service Co., Ltd. ( Kazakhstan ) Wins GWDC 2000HP Solids Control System Contract

    Before the 20th anniversary of Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd., KOSUN signed the contract on 2 sets 2000HP solids control system package with Great Wall Drilling Company ( GWDC ).      

    The beneficiary of this contract is Sino-Kazakh GWDC ( ТОО "Казахстанско-китайская буровая компания Великая стена" ), located in 43A Meltaglough Street, Aktobe, Kazakhstan, is the biggest drilling company in Mid- Asian area and the overseas technical service company of Great Wall Drilling Company ( CNPC GWDC ). Sino-Kazakh GWDC is a joint venture invested by GWDC and CNPC-International Aktobe Petroleum Corp, which has an annual production value of 15 million US$, 30 sets drilling/ workover rigs and 3250 staff.       

    Sino-Kazakh GWDC is a comprehensive drilling company which focuses on drilling engineering contract, drilling fluid technology, cementing, directional drilling, fishing, drilling tools maintenance, rig relocation & installation and other drilling services onsite. The main operation site is located in Zhananuoer, 265 kilometers away from its headquarter in Aktobe and owns the company front command center which consists of one front conduct base and 3 project teams.

    Since the establishment of KOSUN Service Co., Ltd. ( Kazakhstan ), KOSUN has been the only solids control service supplier for Sino-Kazakh GWDC and Batys-Munai LLP from the year of 2009. KOSUN has a service base and two warehouses in Zhananuoer and can provide comprehensive solids control equipment maintenance and spare parts supply service to our clients for 24 hours.  
     
    At the same time, the solids control factory completed on 7th, April in 2012, which made it more convenient for KOSUN to supply services for our clients from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kirgizstan, Russia, Ukraine with zero tax solids control equipment, tanks, camp fabricating and maintenance.  
     
    All the solids control system components are manufactured by KOSUN for these 2 sets of 2000HP Drilling Rig, including mud tanks, shale shakers, mud cleaners, centrifuges, centrifugal pumps, mud agitators, desanders, desilters, sand-proof sheds, etc.  
     
    The investment of these 2 sets 2000HP Drilling Rig Solids Control Systems in the solids control factory in Kazakhstan will be another achievement for KOSUN in its Mid-Asian drilling equipment market.   • Signing Ceremony with SCOMI OILTOOLS

    The signing ceremony of representative agreement between Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. and SCOMI OILTOOLS, Malaysia was held on October 19th, 2011 in ASEAN China Center. Mr. Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Malay Minister of International Trade and Industry was invited to attend this ceremony.

    SCOMI OILTOOLS, a famous solids control equipment manufacturer in Malaysia, was once the global agent of DERRICK and supplied drilling fluids services.
     
    After 3-year cooperation and communication, SCOMI is highly impressed by KOSUN for its excellent services and sales ability and accepted the representative agreement in which KOSUN is authorized the sole agent of shale shaker, mud cleaner, centrifuge and other SCOMI’s solids control equipment.

    KOSUN Service Co., Ltd ( KAZAKHSTAN ). was established as KOSUN’s subsidiary overseas in November, 2009. This company mainly provides compound service of drilling and workover engineering, rig assembly, solids control system manufacturing, marketing and renting. A strategic cooperation agreement was signed between KOSUN Oil Service Co., Ltd. and GWDC in Kazakhstan, Batys-Munai LLP, in which KOSUN Oil Service Co., Ltd. offers daily maintenance and spare parts for 50 sets of rigs owned by these two companies.

    In the year of 2011, a complete solids control equipment factory will be finished in Mid-Asian regions and KOSUN Oil Service Co., Ltd ( Kazakhstan ). will be the only oilfield service provider which supplies equipment production and renting service in Kazakhstan.

  • Kazakhstan Drilling Project-ZJ30 Truck-mounted Rig Assembling and Debugging

    The assembling and debugging of ZJ30 Truck-mounted Rig for KOSUN’s drilling project in Kazakhstan was completed on August 20th, 2010. This successful achievement was finished ahead of schedule with hard work of KOSUN drilling project department and the whole drilling team in 20 days.

    All the parts except the main drilling rig and well control part are manufactured and supported by KOSUN within three months at the solids control manufacturing base located in Xi’an, including the mud purification system ( shale shaker, mud cleaner, centrifuge, agitator, mud tanks and other solids control equipment ), MCC Room, well lighting system, air system, generator system, mud pumps, water and oil tanks as well as other parts.

    A completion ceremony was held in Xianyang City of Shaanxi Province where KOSUN’s drilling rig assembly site locates and this successful accomplishment remarked a better enhancement of KOSUN in drilling rig whole assembly, manufacturing and system support.

  • KOSUN Attends Russia International Oil and Gas Equipment and Technology Industrial Exhibition

    During June 23rd-27th, 2010, the four-person sales team of Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. came to Russia and participated in the 14th Russia International Oil and Gas Equipment and Technology Industrial Exhibition, the team led by Mr Geng Feng, the company’s general manager and Mr Liu Yiwei, the company’s sales manager.

    The most influential and the largest oil & gas and petrochemical equipment exhibition was held by ZAO Exhibition Company and its scale has been on the increase since its establishment in 1986. It is now the most influential and largest oil & gas and petrochemical equipment exhibition in Russia and the Far East.

    Russia is very rich in oil and gas, so its oil & gas industry has been well developped and occupies an important position in native Russia. Chinese national petroleum equipment manufacturers will gain lot of opportunities to export its products to Russia, where the large-scale projects of oil & gas exploration is underway and the production equipment need to be updated regularly. Domestic oil senior personage points out that the technology level of China’s petroleum equipment adapt to the Russian market, which is promising. This exhibition gathered numerous optimal international equipment supplier and attracted many professional buyers from the oil-producing countries. Every year, KOSUN takes part in various exhibitions at home and abroad, especially those in central Asia and Russian-speaking area, which are the important target markets for KOSUN.

    During October 7th-10th, 2009, the 5-person sales team of KOSUN led by Geng Feng, the general manager and Liu Yiwei, the sales manager, came to UKRAINE for participating in AQUA UKRAINE water exhibition. Water exhibition of AQUA UKRAINE is the best exhibition about water treatment in UKRAINE which exhibits comprehensive water treatment, sewage treatment, water recovery & purification and ultra-pure water areas of equipment and technology and services. AQUA UKRAINE is a comprehensive water treatment event, combined with the latest technologies, and also is the professional meeting inviting industry’s leaders to discuss about the market trend and industry development.

    KOSUN participated in water exhibition in Ukraine

    As the largest centrifuge manufacturer in Northwest China, KOSUN showed its latest design and technology of centrifuges on the exhibition. With strong ability on design and production, the centrifuges produced by KOSUN were widely used in various industries such as food, medical, chemical, environmental protection, sewage treatment, water resources protection, municipal engineering, etc.

    The DC Series Centrifuge was displayed on the exhibition, which was made with the most mature design and technology. DC Series Decanter Centrifuge is suitable to treat drilling fluids with particle ≥2μm in diameter, solid phase concentration within 2~70% and liquid viscosity υ≤0.01Pa·sPa, and does the separation of suspended liquid and clarifies fluid which contains a small amount of solid phase, meantime it is also suitable for the work of solid phase separation in other industries.

  • Phase-Ⅱ of Kazakhstan-China Gas Pipeline Starts Welding

    On September 6th, phase-II of Kazakhstan-China Gas Pipeline started welding. Launching ceremony was held on the construction site in Turkistan City, Southern Kazakhstan Oblast.

    Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Shukeyev read a congratulatory letter from Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Chinese government representative Liu Tienan, who is Deputy Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission and also chief of National Energy Administration, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan Sauat Mukhametbaevich Mynbayev, KazMunayGas President Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CNPC Vice President Mr. Wang Dongjin, Governor of Southern Kazakhstan Oblast Askar Myrzakhmetov, delivered speeches at the ceremony respectively. PetroChina Vice President Mr. Sun Bo was also present at the ceremony.

    The 1,475-kilometer pipeline starts from Beyneu, Mangghystau and will meet the Central Asia-China Gas Pipeline at Shymkent. Designed annual capacity of the pipeline is 10 billion cubic meters, and can be expanded to 15 billion cubic meters.
