KOSUN Ranked on Forbes

KOUSN ranked the 87th on the recently released List of “2015 Forbes China’s Unlisted Potential Enterprises Top 100” for its 20% gross revenue compound growth rate in two years.

Among such 100 enterprises, KOSUN is the only inland enterprise headquartered in Xi’an, and also the only environmental equipment manufacturing enterprise in energy sector (KOSUN ranked on Forbes for its main businesses solids control equipment and drilling waste management). It is worth mentioning that, energy conservation and environmental protection enterprises account for 6% in 2014 list, whereas 11% in 2015 list. KOSUN is among such list.

Jointly Forge New Glory of “Silk Road” with “Chang’an” Block Train and Tieyang Transportation

Recently, another batch of drilling mud solids control equipment labeled with “KOSUN” arrives at Zhem Station in Kazakhstan by international freight block train named “Chang’an” from Xi’an International Port District.

Logistics bottleneck begins to emerge along with the increasing market share of KOSUN drilling solids control and drilling waste management equipment in Pan-Russian Area and Central Asia. In the past, KOSUN products were transported to Zhem Station of Kazakhstan by train from Xi’an, and were detained in both dispatching station and transfer station for a long time, and communication and coordination between commercial personnel and freight department is rather time-consuming as well.

After the international freight block train “Chang’an” was open to traffic at the end of 2013, KOSUN made cooperation with Shanghai Tieyang Multimodal Transportation Co., Ltd. to deliver our products to customers by “Chang’an” Train, a new way of the Silk Road. This year, five batches of drilling mud solids control equipment have been delivered to Central Asia by “Chang’an”, totally weighing 188 tons and valuing over one million USD. At present, it takes only about ten days for products to reach Zhem from factory, nearly half of previous transportation time.

The improved logistics efficiency guarantees the delivery date of KOSUN products and greatly speeds up the response to customer requirements. During the period of nationally strategic opportunity of building “the Silk Road Economic Belt”, KOSUN will seize the opportunity, cooperate closely with Tieyang and jointly forge new glory by this “golden way”.

These equipment are redesigned and modified products based on standard KOSUN configurations, including 14 LS703 shale shakers, seven VD270 vacuum degassers, seven MD210 cleaners, seven DC355 VFD decanter centrifuges, seven G70 screw pumps, 14 CP68-55 centrifugal pumps and over 1000 shaker screens, which can better meet customer’s solids control requirements locally.

The customers carefully inspected all equipment during their visit in December, raining praise on personalized design, meticulous processing steps, professional welding, painting and other process details of KOSUN equipment. They expressed great satisfaction with the equipment supplied and took photos to report to other board directors.

After equipment inspection, they held a two-day meeting with KOSUN top management. Consensus was reached between two parties to extend deep cooperation in solids control and waste management for strategic partnership. Customized Centrifuge Delivered to Africa Again

Recently, another good news from KOSUN African market came that a western African customer ordered two DC450L decanter centrifuges. It is worth mentioning that this is the third time for the customer to purchase solids control equipment from KOSUN. These two DC450L centrifuges have been delivered by the time of news release.

Earlier in 2012, this African customer had ordered one DC355 decanter centrifuge from KOSUN and it was well recognized by the customer in terms of product quality and services. In 2013, the customer sent another order to KOSUN for solids control equipment. Through repeated technical communications, KOSUN provided customized DC600 centrifuge and DC450L VFD decanter centrifuge as per the customer’s requirements. Currently, these two centrifuges are still in operation at drilling waste management site.

The customer chose KOSUN again in 2014 for satisfactory application experience and ordered two DC450L centrifuges. To meet working requirements on drilling site, KOSUN team expedites production progress day and night and has finished equipment shipment within seven days. Customer orientation and rapid response of KOSUN was highly appraised by the customer.

Successful marketing of KOSUN equipment in West Africa not only improves KOSUN’s popularity in local market, but also lays foundation for customized products of KOSUN in Africa.

KOSUN Delivers the Second Batch of Solids Control Equipment for Rig to Russia

This year, KOSUN signed an order of 20 sets of drilling mud solids control equipments with a Russian drilling service company. At present, the customer has smoothly received the first batch of equipment. Recently, Kosun Jingwei Factory is preparing to deliver the second batch of equipment, including dozens of LS583 linear motion shale shakers, MD106 mud cleaners, VD240 vacuum degassers, DC450S decanter centrifuges, CP56-22 centrifugal pumps, CP56-37S centrifugal pumps, G70-1 screw pumps and JM35 jet mixers.

Since 2014, KOSUN has increased the investigation and channel development on the Russian market. After several rounds of negotiation with the Russian drilling service company, the customer finally selected KOSUN as its partner and signed the order. So far, KOSUN has delivered the first batch of equipment to the customer on schedule, which is highly praised by the customer.

Russia is always a market attracting special attention from the petroleum industry. We expect that this cooperation with the drilling service company will help KOSUN further open the Russian market.

Teamwork Cohesion in Christmas-eve Celebration

In the afternoon on December 24th, 2014, KOSUN held a Christmas-eve party in the headquarter office.

In order to build a festive, sweet and innovative environment, staff elaborately arranged a Christmas scene in activity area. Original, fashionable and creative scene layout was created through close coordination, various suggestions and efforts of everyone.
