    SHALE SHAKER
    Shale Shaker is used as the first stage equipment for drilling fluid solids control system. It can remove 74μm or above size particle from mud.

    VACUUM DEGASSER
    Vacuum Degasser separates H2S and other gases. It is helpful for reducing cone part abrasion on desander and desilter during further handling.

    DESANDER
    KOSUN Desander is used for separating 45-74μm particle from mud.

    DESILTER
    KOSUN Desilter is used as 4th stage equipment for drilling fluid solids control system.It separates 15-44μm particle.

    DECANTER CENTRIFUGE
    KOSUN DC Series Decanter Centrifuge is used for separating tiny particle(dia≥2μm). The proportion and viscosity for the recycled mud can satisfy different mud handling requirement according to the drilling condition.

  • KOSUN Oil Sludge Treatment System Put Into Operation In Tahe Oilfield

    Recently, KOSUN designed and produced oil sludge treatment system sent to Daqing to treat the oil sludge, the process using flotation method.

  • TBM Slurry Separation Plant

    TBM Slurry Separation Plant

    KD series TBM slurry separation plant mainly consists of scalping shaker module, desanding module and desilting module.   • What is Horizontal Directional Drilling Mud Recycling System?

    KOSUN Horizontal Directional Drilling(HDD) mud recycling system is developed, designed and manufactured to meet trenchless technology requirements at home and abroad and is applied in purification treatment of mud returned from underground during horizontal directional drilling process. Cuttings with big particle sizes are separated by shale shaker, cleaner and other solids control equipment. Mud materials required are added and evenly mixed for circulation via mud mixer to meet performance requirements for reuse.   • Features of KOSUN Mud Agitator and Mud Tank

    KOSUN mud agitator is part of the drilling fluids solids control equipment, which is mainly used to agitate and mix the drilling mud to prevent solids particles from depositing in the circulating tank and to stabilize the performance of drilling fluids. It is composed of explosion-proof motor, speed reducer, motor base and blade. The motor and speed reducer, speed reducer and impeller shaft are connected by steel coupling. The impeller is welded with four blades.

    Mud tank: As a mud carrier, mud tank is an indispensable part in mud circulation system, and it can complete weighting, mixing, solid-liquid separating, degassing and other processes. Mud tank carries the mud circulating between well head and mud pump. The solid phase in mud are separated stage by stage through relevant solids control equipment on mud tanks and then the drilling fluids is concocted in the mixing and weighting system to meet drilling requirements.

    Step 1: The slurry charged with soil is conveyed to the system through the supply line (1) and let out onto a vibrating coarse shaker (2) which removes particles exceeding 5mm in size.

    Step 2: The sieved slurry drops into a collection box (3) and passes through a connecting trough into the main reservoir (5) of the desanding module from where it is pumped (10) to the two desanding cyclones (8) which separate out sand from slurry.

    Step 3: The sand pour out through the underflow outlets of the desanding cyclones (8) and drop onto a vibrating fine shaker (4) lower deck to be dewatered and removed (12) from the process.

    Step 4: The treated slurry leaving the desanding cyclones (8) through the overflow outlets pours into an intermediate tank (7) from where it passes to a storage tank (6)

    Step 5: A further refinement of the slurry can be achieved by pumping (11) already treated slurry from the storage tank (6) to the equipped desilting cyclones (9) for subsequent treatment..

    Step 6: The refined slurry leaving through the overflow outlets of desilting cyclones (9) flow back to the storage tank (6), to be conveyed (13) to the site on demand.

    Step 7: The part of the slurry leaving the desilting cyclones (9) through the underflow outlets drops onto the fine shaker (4) upper deck to be filtered out and removed from then process while the filtrate returns into the cycle.

    Step 8: A float control device (14) fitted into the main reservoir controls the fluid level in the system during the process: by opening/closing a passage between the main reservoir and the intermediate tank, the float prevents the system overflowing and pumps running dry.
