    On September 8, 2015, Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. heard a piece of good news from its Drilling Waste Project Department in Wushen County, Inner Mongolia that the specific gravity of mud treated by KOSUN water-base drilling waste management system was not more than 1.03 (≤1.03), completely in conformity with the national mud discharge standard, which realized “zero discharge of drilling waste” and minimized the waste discharge amount.

    In the first ten days of August 2015, a technical service team of Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. arrived at an oilfield in Wushen County to conduct an on-site training about drilling waste management system. Along with the launching of a drilling project, the technical service team of KOSUN rapidly and efficiently completed the installation and debugging of equipment supporting well drilling (drilling waste management system) in response to the drilling operation of a drilling company.  During the application process lasting one month, the drilling waste management equipment ran well and the water content in mud treated by Hi-G dryer was ≤1.03.

  • KOSUN High-end Decanter Centrifuge Entering the South American Market

    Recently, KOSUN hears another good news from the South American market that KOSUN reaches a supply agreement of Black Rhino decanter centrifuges with an important customer in South America through nearly two-month negotiation and communication.

    Black Rhino decanter centrifuge is a high-end one designed and developed by KOSUN independently, which is greatly improved on appearance design, raw material selection and safety device configuration than ordinary centrifuge.     Recently, good news of KOSUN keeps pouring in from the Russian market. Just after completion the last batch of drilling fluid solids control system to be used in Russia, an order of another batch of solids control system has been placed in KOSUN.

    This time, the order is placed by a regular customer of KOSUN in Russia, and eight years have gone by since the first cooperation between both sides in 2007. In the past eight years, polar low-temperature mud solids control systems successively provided by KOSUN have been always running well at oilfields in Russia. Both sides sign a purchase contract of polar low-temperature solid control system supporting 3000m drilling rig again this month, including LS703 shale shakers, MD210 mud cleaners, CP series centrifugal pumps, VD series vacuum degassers, etc. The system will be used at drilling blocks of Lukoil in Russia.

  • 20 Sets of KOSUN Solids Control Equipment for Rigs Sent to Russia

    Since 2014, KOSUN has signed a contract of 20 sets of solids control systems with a Russian drilling service company and the goods have been delivered to the customer in batches.

    Recently, KOSUN Jingwei Factory is preparing for the latest shipment of supporting drilling mud cleaning equipment to assist the smooth implementation of new drilling contract of this drilling company. Dozens of LS583 linear motion shale shakers, MD106 mud cleaners, VD240 vacuum degassers, DC450S decanter centrifuges, CP56-22 centrifugal pumps, CP56-37S centrifugal pumps, G70-1 screw pumps and JM35 jet mud mixers are ready for shipment.

     


     
    KOSUN has always been attaching importance to survey on the Russian market and its channel development strength. Through repeated negotiations and discussions with the drilling service company, the customer finally signed the order with KOSUN at the beginning of 2014. The customer is very satisfied with service performance of the equipment previously delivered to them.   • KOSUN Zero Discharge of Drilling Waste Treatment System Passing Test at an Oilfield in Xinjiang

    On August 27, 2015, KOSUN drilling waste management system formally entered an oilfield in Xinjiang and began to accept the test from September. This time, KOSUN puts two sets of Zero Discharge of Drilling Waste treatment systems into test. Through a two-week test, the drilling cuttings and fluids treated by such systems achieved “Zero Discharge of Drilling Waste”, effectively reducing the discharge amount of drilling waste. The separated fluids were recycled, and the solids were uniformly stored and transported for centralized treatment, greatly reducing the pollution of drilling mud to soil environment at well site.

  • Four KOSUN D450L Centrifuges Sent to a Drilling Waste Management Site in North Africa Again

     Recently, four customized KOSUN D450L centrifuges purchased by a European drilling mud service company for drilling waste management in North Africa have been sent to the drilling site. This is the second time for the customer to purchase these four D450L centrifuges after his previous order of 12 sets of D450L, which proves the satisfactory performance of KOSUN D450L and that the customer has recognized the equipment.
