  • Twelve KOSUN D450L Centrifuges Shipped to Drilling Waste Management Site in North Africa

    Recently, twelve D450L decanter centrifuges purchased by a world-famous mud service company have been shipped to a drilling site in North Africa. These centrifuges are deeply customized according to practical requirements on the drilling site and are to be applied in oilfield drilling waste management project. This cooperation has enhanced the bilateral cooperative relationship up to a strategic level. Both parties have agreed to in-depth cooperation in drilling waste environmental management and some other projects.

    This mud service company placed its first order with KOSUN in 2012. During the subsequent three-year cooperation process, the customer has always been paying close attention to KOSUN drilling waste management equipment, and has placed orders of KOSUN Black Rhino Series Centrifuges, vertical centrifuges, Hi-G dryers and other equipment from time to time. The twelve D450L centrifuges are specially customized based on on-site requirements after engineers from both parties have investigated the drilling site and our factory repeatedly, and fall into KOSUN products of More Than Customized.

Through technical discussions between us, modifications are made to technical specifications of this batch of equipment based on those of the former batch and customized production is started as per the customer’s requirements. For the customer’s urgent demand for the equipment, KOSUN immediately starts production after reaching an agreement to guarantee scheduled delivery.

    The customer suffers from financial pressure due to continuous falling of international oil price recently.     In 2014, KOSUN customized Black Rhino Linear Motion Shale Shaker and D355 Decanter Centrifuge for a well-known oil service company in the Middle East. KOSUN equipment wins the customer’s praise for their stable and excellent working performance on drilling sites. This new customer learned of field performance and treatment efficiency of KOSUN products from the company and proactively contacted KOSUN International Business Department. From several products recommended by KOSUN business personnel, the customer finally chose VD240 Vacuum Degasser and D450L centrifuge suitable for their company system.

    Equipment has been manufactured by mid April and has passed all tests conducted by Quality Inspection Department. It takes only eight days from order placing to goods shipping. The equipment is ready for shipment to the customer.

  • Successful Holding of Drilling Waste Management Technical Seminar by ES-KSN OILFIELD SERV. CO., LTD. Affiliated to KOSUN

    On March 27, 2015, ES-KSN OILFIELD SERV. CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as ES-KSN), a China-Egypt joint venture affiliated to KOSUN, successfully held “Drilling Waste Management Technical Seminar” at E203 conference room in China International Exhibition Center (new exhibition hall) in Beijing. Technical support for the seminar was provided by Xi’an Oil & Gas Drilling Waste Management Engineering Center. 
     
    Subject of the seminar is “‘Zero Discharge’ of Chinese Drilling Waste Management—the Optimal Solution”.
