From June 2nd to June 5th, 2015, Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. took part in the 22nd International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition which was held in a beautiful city of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, with its’ professional drilling solids control systems and drilling waste management solutions. KOSUN VC-1000 Series Vertical Centrifuges are Popular with the African Market

Guide: After the appearance at CIPPE 2015, KOSUN VC-1000 series vertical centrifuges have always been attracting much attention from customers in the African market. In June 2015, KOSUN signs an order of vertical centrifuges.

Along with the increasing requirements on environmental protection in the industry, all oilfields are nagged by drilling waste management. So, it is imperative for the oil and gas industry to solve the big problem.

KOSUN VC-1000 Vertical Centrifuge

KOSUN VC-1000 series vertical centrifuges selected by the African customer are vertical flight discharge centrifuges and separate liquid from solids by using the operating principle of centrifugal separation. The vertical centrifuge can effectively recover the liquid from drilling cuttings and make solids very dry, which is suitable for water-base mud, oil-base mud and synthetic-base mud. The recycling of mud in cuttings reduces drilling cost and pollution to environment. Its capacity is 40~60t/h, and the liquid/oil on cuttings treated is below 5% (w/w), which is up to international discharge standards and environmental requirements. The equipment can be used in drilling cuttings treatment in onshore and offshore drilling operations.
