  • KOSUN KD-250 skid-mounted integrated environmental sludge separation system will be applied in a micro tunneling construction project in Poland.

    Today, KOSUN has completed the production and commissioning of a set of KD-250 skid-mounted integrated environmental sludge separation system, and is about to send it to Poland for a micro tunneling construction project.
     
    KOSUN KD-250 skid-mounted integrated environmental sludge separation system adopts modular structure design. This system mainly consists of shake shaker, hydrocyclone, tapered tank, feed module. Mud enters the screening system from feed module and is processed step by step by the coarse screen, hydrocyclone, fine screen, and the excavated materials, such as sand, stone and the like, carried in the mud can be effectively separated, and larger solid particles in the tail slurry can be separated, thus reducing the solid content of the mud. Mud treated by this system can enter the next-stage treatment equipment such as centrifuge or filter press.


     
    The shale shaker of this system is a double-deck linear shaker of LS-608 series, mainly consisting of screen box assembly, shaft base, handwheel lifting device, regulating beam assembly, locking device, etc. LS-608 is a linear vibration machine. It is equipped with two vibrating motors and has the feature of adjusting the screen frame angle. When LS-608 is running, the screen frame angle can be adjusted between -1°~+5°. Thanks to the innovation of structural design, LS-608 can efficiently separate solid particles from mud. The vibration motors are fixed onto the screen frame and positioned on the screen bed by a high-strength support beam. Using this method to locate the vibration motor can directly apply the G-force on the sieve plate. The vibration isolation device can protect the base frame from the vibration of the screen frame.

  • KOSUN ZJ15 drilling rig solids control systems successfully sent to Ukraine

    Recently, two sets of ZJ15 solids control systems produced by KOSUN were successfully delivered to the project site in Ukraine.


     
    A few days ago, KOSUN invited Ukrainian customers to visit the factory to check the production process and job schedule. The customers highly praised the professional products of KOSUN.


     
    The ZJ15 drilling rig solids control system produced by KOSUN is a mud treatment system integrating mechanical and electrical control. The system can treat the drilling mud by stages, and mix, degas, weight and stir the drilling mud, and also can replenish mud for the wellhead. These two sets of systems ordered by the Ukrainian customers consist of mud tanks, mud mixing tanks, rotary cranes and solids control equipment. The whole systems contain shale shakers and vacuum degassers, mud mixing and weighting systems, mud make-up systems, electrical control systems, lighting systems, etc. The surface coating of the system is durable, which can ensure that the system can be applied in environments with high wear and corrosion.


     
    The ZJ15 drilling rig solids control system has several important characteristic design processes, which can treat the drilling mud by stages; meanwhile, it can also weight, mix and stir the mud. The pill tank and pipeline can provide mud materials for the system; the mixing system can mix the mud; the trip tank and its pipeline can replenish mud for the wellhead; the mud gun pipeline and the stirring system can fully stir and mix the mud in the mud tank; the clean water pipeline can supply water source to prepare mud and wash the tank surface.

  • KOSUN KD Series slurry treatment system applied to pile foundation construction of a high-rise hotel in Xi’an Hi-tech Zone

    In recent years, the slurry treatment equipment produced by KOSUN has won the favor of domestic and foreign customers with its competitive quality and price advantage. Two sets of KD series slurry treatment systems customized by a customer in Xi'an have been successfully completed and will be sent to the construction site in Xi'an Hi-tech Zone this week, which can achieve reduced discharge and resource utilization of sludge generated during the pile foundation construction in high-rise buildings.


     
    KOSUN KD series slurry treatment system is a mud purification machine developed for construction engineering, bridge pile foundation engineering, underground tunnel shield engineering and trenchless projects. It meets the requirements of anti-circulation mud wall protection and hole-forming process requirements. The system mainly consists of shale shaker, desander, gravel pump and electrical control system, which is used to support the pile foundation rotary drilling rig, with a capacity up to 500m3/h.


     
    During the drilling process, as the drilling cuttings continuously enter into the mud, the specific gravity, viscosity and sand content of the mud will change. The polluted mud cannot meet the requirements on mud performance. It must be treated or purified, mainly for solid-liquid separation. The drilled cuttings in the mud will be separated and discharged, and the purified mud will be recycled. The KD system is suitable to purify mud in the slurry balance shield, underground diaphragm wall and pile foundation construction.     Recently, a set of solids control system produced by KOSUN was shipped to the offshore drilling artificial island project site, which will be applied at an offshore drilling platform.   • Common Faults and Solutions of KOSUN Shale Shaker

    In operation, various factors may cause different faults in the shale shaker. Now, we briefly introduce the causes of various faults and their solutions:


     
    1. The material flow on the shale shaker is abnormal. First, the rigidity of the screen box may be insufficient, there is a critical frequency, and the connecting bolts have been loosened. Thus fasten the bolts. Second, the horizontal level of the screen box is not accurately calibrated. So, change the springs or change the support sizes. And it is also possible that the screen is damaged, thus replace the damaged screen.
     
    2. The screening effect is poor. The most possible reason is improper operation. The mesh may be blocked, the fine particles in material increase and the moisture increases, so that the material layer on the screen is too thick, and the feeding is uneven. It is possible that the two sides of the screen are not tightly pulled. If the shaft is eccentrically vibrated, the belt may be too loose. When the above mechanical problems are solved, perform the reverse rotation for a period of time to improve the screening quality.

    3. If the noise of the shale shaker is too loud, it may be the bearing damage, loose bolts, broken beam and spring damage. For this, the bolts can be tightened, and under the other three conditions, the parts need to be replaced.
