OSEA is the biennial tradeshow that has served the offshore Oil & Gas market and the related supporting industries since 1976. The Platinum Edition (20th) of OSEA will be held from 2 – 5 December 2014 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Established as the region’s most well-attended Oil & Gas event, it has continuously attracted a high quality attendance.

KOSUN Solids Control System Is Highly Appreciated by a Well-known Russian Drilling Service Provider Again

KOSUN has been regarding product quality and services as the basis for corporate survival over the years. In early November, the KOSUN Office in Russia sent a consumer survey feedback form filled with favorable comments.

Being one of the loyal customers of KOSUN in Russia, this famous drilling company has been using KOSUN solids control systems since 2007. Headquartered in Moscow and mainly centralizing drilling blocks in Astrakhan drilling regions subordinate to Lukoil, the company has powerful strength, adopts the most advanced hydraulic drilling rig manufactured by Italy and equips KOSUN mud system for drilling.

After having put into service for a year, KOSUN circulation system works well on customer’s drilling sites without any quality problems. The customer is satisfied with product performance and sends the feedback form for encouragement.

The customer said that, Russia’s climate imposes high requirements on equipment durability and low temperature resistance. No global company can mechanically apply its successful experience gained in other countries when it enters the Russian market. Only Russia on the earth covers 11 time zones. The infrastructures in its drilling blocks have not been fully developed, and the climate in the north is very harsh, so sometimes mechanical equipment needs to be maintained in a low-temperature environment below -40°C. However, KOSUN solids control unit has completely solved the above problems. After long-time use, we deeply trust in and rely on KOSUN equipment, and we will certainly continue to cooperate with KOSUN in the future.

KOSUN Headquarters Housewarming & Hallowmas Party

The new KOSUN Headquarters is put into formal use from October 31, 2014, which is located at F11, Lock Building, No.37B Tangyan Road, Hi-tech Development Zone, Xi’an, China.

KOSUN Wins a Bulk Order of ZJ70 Circulating System in Kazakhstan

Near the end of the year, KOSUN Kazakhstan Service Company sends another good news that it has signed a contract concerning ZJ70 circulating system with a local drilling company in Aktobe.

KOSUN Kazakhstan Service Company was established at the end of 2009, and KOSUN Kazakhstan Circulating System Factory was completed in 2012, which is the only drilling mud solids control system factory in Kazakhstan and is capable of providing local customers with all kinds of tanks and camps. The project greatly shortens the time of delivery for customers in Central Asian countries and Russia, and supplies high-quality maintenance, after-sales services and accessories to local customers, which is highly appreciated by them. This order of ZJ70 circulating system contains such solids control equipment as seven mud tanks, one pill tank, 24 agitators, six centrifugal pumps, one shear pump, one trip pump, four weighting hoppers, etc. and some accessories, and the completed ZJ70 solids control system will be put into use in drilling operations at a certain block in Aktobe.

Recently, KOSUN’s VD270 vacuum degassers customized for a South American customer have successfully arrived at Shanghai Port, ready for shipment and sea transportation.

KOSUN Signed 7 Sets of Solids Control Equipment Contract with South American Customer

After several rounds of technical and commercial negotiation, KOSUN signed a sales contract on 7 sets of solids control equipment with a famous drilling company in the South America area. This contact refers to dozens sets of equipment, including shale shakers, vacuum degassers, mud cleaners, decanter centrifuges, screw pumps, centrifugal pumps and more than 1000 pieces of shaker screens. This is another significant success for KOSUN in South America market development, which will tremendously promote KOSUN brand in South America area.

Successful Closing of KOSUN “Solids Control School” Training

Guide: From August 1st to 20th, 2014, KOSUN held a large-scale training activity at its solids control industrial base in Jingwei Industrial Park, which is called “Solids Control School” Training, aiming to improve comprehensive quality of employees at each post and fulfill the corporate mission of “People Oriented, Technology Spurring Enterprise and Customer Foremost”.
