Before the operation of the belt conveyor, it is necessary to ensure that the equipment, personnel, and materials being transported are in a safe and intact condition.  Next, check that all moving parts are normal and free of foreign objects, and inspect all electrical circuits to ensure normal operation before starting the belt conveyor.  Finally, check that the power supply voltage does not differ by more than ±5% from the rated voltage of the equipment.

 

When starting the operation of the belt conveyor, the following steps must be taken:

1. Turn on the main power switch and check if the equipment is receiving power and if the power indicator is on.  Once everything is normal, proceed to the next step.

2. Turn on the power switches of each circuit and check if it is functioning properly.

3. Start each electrical device according to the process flow, ensuring that the previous electrical device has started normally (motor or other equipment has reached normal speed and status) before starting the next electrical device.

4. During the operation of the belt conveyor, it is essential to comply with the design specifications of the materials being transported and the design capacity of the belt conveyor.  Additionally, attention should be paid to ensuring that personnel do not touch the moving parts of the belt conveyor, and non-professionals should not handle electrical components or control buttons without authorization.

5. When stopping the operation of the belt conveyor, press the stop button and wait for the entire system to come to a complete stop before cutting off the main power supply.
