Solutions for Common Problems of KOSUN ZCQ Vacuum Degasser
Nov 06, 2013
The detailed introduction of Vacuum Degasser: It is necessary to install Vacuum Degasser for removing the gas from drilling fluids since safety hazards and effects on some parts’ lifespan can be caused by gas entrained in drilling fluids from kick as drilling processes. You are welcome to consult and purchase drilling fluids vacuum degasser, vacuum degasser, drilling safety equipment.
Features and Advantages:
1. Self-priming device enables it to be pumped drilling fluids without centrifugal pump.
2. Corrosion is eliminated and cost on reparation as well as maintenance reduced.
3. The design is compact and the footprint is small.
4. It can also work as powerful drilling fluids agitator.
Solutions for Common Problems of KOSUN ZCQ Vacuum Degasser
Problems |
Causes |
Solutions |
I. Low or zero vacuum degree |
1. No rotational circulation is formed due to shortage of water in vacuum pump. |
Inject water into pump and adjust the ball valve on the pipeline to pump. |
2. Too huge gap exists between two ends of propeller |
Reduce the paper packing or replace propeller to adjust gap. |
|
3. The temperature in pump is too high. |
Pour more cold water inside. |
|
4. The linking points of bolts or discharge line are not well sealed. |
Fasten the bolts or seal the leaking point of discharge line. |
|
5. Suction line or discharge line do not immerse in the drilling fluids. |
Immerse it into drilling fluids. |
|
II. Too much power of shaft |
1. There is too much water in the pump. |
Readjust the ball valve |
2. The propeller cannot automatically adjust the gap on the shaft sleeve. |
The propeller should be able to move freely after opening pump cover, taking out propeller, readjusting gap and reinstalling it. |
|
III. Unusual noise is generated or it is violently shaking after starting it. |
1. Inner part of pump is damaged or invaded by solid particles. |
Open the cover and wash the pump, or replace it if it is damaged. |
2. Vacuum tank is invaded by foreign bodies. |
Open the square flange or bottom cap and remove them. |
