KOSUN Drilling Waste Management System Active at Major Well Sites in Africa
Mar 19, 2015
Recently, KOSUN has completed the production and packaging of a batch of screens for vertical cuttings dryers and is ready to ship them to Africa. These screens will serve as replacements of Vertical Cuttings Dryer screens active in Africa for drilling waste management. This set of KOSUN drilling waste management system has been used by turns at several African drilling sites after being sold to Africa in March 2014. Customers highly praised treatment result of the equipment.
What is drilling waste?
Drilling waste means cuttings, waste mud and waste water mixture generated during the drilling process. These wastes can cause serious environmental pollution, and if being directly discharged, they will do great harm to soil and water resource, making covered earth surface barren.
Earth Surface Pollution due to Random Discharge of Drilling Waste
In order to protect the environment in which we live, recycle drilling fluid and save more cost for customers, KOSUN sets up “Xi’an Oil & Gas Drilling Waste Management Engineering Center” and develops vertical cuttings dryer, Hi-G dryer, centrifuge, screw conveyor, screw pump and other first-class high-performance drilling waste management equipment, taking “zero discharge of drilling waste” as the drilling waste management standard.

Nowadays, international community is paying more and more attention to environmental protection and customers have seen practical economic benefits brought by drilling waste management equipment. Drilling fluid recycled each day can save tens of thousands of US dollars for customers. More and more new and regular customers write to KOSUN to ask about our technologies and equipment related to drilling waste management.
