The necessity of fracturing flowback fluid treatment in oilfield exploitation
Dec 24, 2020
Fracturing operation is the main method for the development of low-permeability reservoirs and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs. Through fracturing, the permeability of oil and gas reservoirs can be improved and plugging removal. The fracturing technology can tap the potential of oil wells in old areas, test new wells, increase production of single wells, and develop unconventional oil and gas. , It plays an important role in the development of shale gas. The composition of the fracturing flowback fluid is complex and contains a variety of pollutants. If not effectively treated, it will cause serious pollution to the regional environment. Commonly used methods for sewage treatment in oil and gas fields include flocculation sedimentation, filtration/adsorption, electrolysis, acid-base neutralization, and biological treatment. As a kind of oil and gas field sewage, fracturing flowback fluid has complex composition, strong stability, and poor biodegradability. In the actual treatment process, multiple methods are usually used for joint treatment.
Fracturing flowback fluid not only contains a large number of chemical additives, but also carries organic and inorganic compounds, bacteria, heavy metals and radioactive elements in the formation during the flowback process. Compared with other oil and gas field sewage, it has a wide variety of pollutants and components. Complexity, high concentration, high viscosity, high COD, high salinity, and high stability. If the fracturing flowback fluid is discharged without treatment, it will cause harm to the surrounding environment, cause soil compaction and salinization, surface water pollution, and cause serious environmental pollution and ecological damage.
The fracturing flowback fluid treatment system is a flowback liquid back-distribution and re-injection treatment device independently developed by our company based on years of oil and gas field flowback liquid treatment and comprehensive utilization production practices. The fracturing flowback fluid treatment system integrates process units such as automatic dosing, multi-reaction, oil-water separation, solid-liquid separation, fine treatment, sludge concentration and dehydration, etc. The fracturing flowback fluid treatment system occupies a small area, short installation and commissioning cycle, high degree of automation, and easy operation. Measures to adapt to different types of fracturing systems and different fracturing processes, the waste liquid is treated to meet the standards to ensure that the effluent water quality meets the needs of reinjection or re-allocation.
